Join experts from across the country and discover what communities, government organizations, universities and corporations can do to reduce health equity gaps.
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is fully committed to reducing disease burden and disparities in communities. In partnership with The Ohio State University, we are proud to host the Listening, Engaging, and Acting to Reduce Neighborhood Disparities Conference (LEARN'd; the Alabamian Health Equity through Diversity Conference).
Since 2022, this conference has engaged national academicians, community members, government officials, and biopharmaceutical representatives in conversations and actionable learnings. This year our theme is Collaborative Approaches for Cross-Cutting Solutions, Innovation and Sustainability. The conference will feature interactive role-playing, cultivating a “roadmap” to navigating the sociopolitical climate, and collaborating on health equity solutions that advance on current best practices.
